Правила вживання Some/any

Some означає декілька/певна кількість

• Вживається у стверджувальних реченнях (+)

Наприклад:

• There is some flour on the table
• There are some peppers on the table

Any означає скільки-небудь або ніскільки/жодного

• Вживається у запитальних (?) або заперечних реченнях (–)

Наприклад:

• Is there any sugar in the cupboard?
• Are there any carrots in the fridge?
• There aren’t any tomatoes in the fridge
• There isn’t any chocolate in the cupboard
